Full Spectrum is a month-long celebration of the arts through the visual, musical, performance and film mediums located in the heart of the Covington Arts District and beyond in Covington, Kentucky. The event showcases the Northern Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati Arts Community and invites regional and national artists to show their work to the public while offering each facet of the arts community cross-synergistic opportunities to interact with other artistic communities. Businesses and residents alike are invited to share in the festivities on many platforms. The event will nurture, build, and celebrate the greater visual and performing local arts community as well as the creative spirit of other mediums.
The broader aim of the event is to align itself with the regional economic goals of Covington and the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky region: to attract new artists to live, work and shop in Covington, help artists sell and showcase their work, and help create a mutually supportive environment for artists as well as a platform upon which all artists can stand upon and cross-pollinate. This is Full Spectrum’s first year and we already have over 300 artists,150 individuals and organizations and 40 venues committed.
In comparison with other Art events that have been featured in the area, Full Spectrum is the only festival that has brought so many communities and interests together under one purpose in Covington, with a significant economic and marketing impact to the area and its stakeholders.
This year, we aim to reach attendance levels that exceed 10,000 visitors throughout the month.
